OUR QUALIFICATIONS

* Licensed by the State of Texas
* Teachers certified by the Texas State Board of Education
* Twenty-five years of experience in Driver's Education
* Our programs meet insurance discount requirements
* State approved defensive driving classes

 COURSE REQUIREMENTS

* 32 hours classroom instruction in 16 two-hour sessions
* 14 hours in-car instruction (7 hours driving, 7 hours observation) in 7 two-hour sessions
* 20 hours in-car parent or instructor (10 hours at night, 10 hours in daylight) eff. 05-01-2010
* Course length is a minimum of three weeks, dependent on student attendance.
* The state allows 2 hours of classroom sessions (excluding make up work) and 3 hours of in-car training in one day ( a maximum of 5 hours).

Class Start Dates

INSTRUCTIONAL CONTENT

* Classroom: rules of the road, driving procedures, defensive driving strategies, occupant
protection, alcohol and drug abuse, and more
* In-Car: fundamentals of car control, light/heavy city driving, country driving, special
maneuvers, and freeway driving.

 PARENTAL ASSISTANCE
