DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASSES

DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS ARE HELD EVERY SATURDAY:

a.       All Defensive Driving Classes are a total of 6 hours.

b.      Part A meets from 9am-noon (3 hours) both Dallas and Plano offices.

c.       Part B meets from 12:30pm-3:30pm (3 hours) both Dallas and Plano offices.

OUR PROGRAM, DRIVING SAFETY AWARENESS, QUALIFIES FOR:

a.       Traffic ticket dismissals

b.      Insurance discounts

DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS FEES:

a.       Our fee is $30.00

b.      We accept cash or check only

c.        No credit cards

COMPLETION  CERTIFICATES:

a.       Completion certificates will be mailed to the address listed on your contract.

b.      It is your responsibility to return  all of the required paperwork to your court in a timely manner.

MOST COURTS REQUIRE:

a.       Completion certificate from the Texas Education Agency.

b.      A copy of your driving record from the Texas Department of Public Safety in Austin ($10 fee required).

c.       Between $65 and $95 to pay court costs ( if not previously paid).

d.       Some courts (Dallas) require a notarized affidavit that must be completed and submitted within a 5 day window, after the expiration of the court ordered 180 day deferred adjudication.

NOTE:

a.       Your completion certificate can take up to 15 days to process and be returned to you.

b.      In the event of a deadline problem, a completion certificate may be expedited for an additional fee of $25.

c.        The $25 fee is for EXPRESS MAIL and HANDLING CHARGES by DRIVING SAFETY AWARENESS, our course provider.
